Bopha Som Boutselis immigrated to the United States in the Fall of 2000. She earned both a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a Teaching Concentration and a Master’s in Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She also earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in School Administration from the American International College in 2021.
Bopha was previously employed as a math teacher at Lowell High School, where she enjoyed serving a diverse student population. She has since transitioned to a District Support Specialist role in the Office of Equity and Empowerment for Lowell Public Schools. She is proud to say that she has helped shape the lives of many youth in the city of Lowell.
Working for Lowell Public Schools, Bopha has seen firsthand how the youth and families of Lowell struggle to attain affordable and comfortable housing, and she views RENU as an opportunity to step in and find solutions for providing adequate and safe living environments.
