IFB 2022-11 Concord River Mill Elevator Replacement

The Lowell Housing Authority and the Board of Commissioners, the Awarding Authority, invite sealed bids from Contractors for Elevator Replacement at 50 Stackpole Street for the Lowell Housing Authority in Lowell, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by GGD Consulting Engineers, Inc.

The Project consists of: replacement of elevator. The work is estimated to cost $553,441.00.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive, Davis Bacon Wage Determination for Residential Construction (MA4), 40 U.S.C. 276, 29 C.F.R. 1.

A Pre-Bid Site Visit shall take place on August 3, 2022 @ 10:00 AM. Interested Contractors shall meet at 50 Stackpole Street, Lowell, MA 01852.

The IFB is available to download at www.lhma.org/bids as of July 20, 2022. Filed Sub-Bids are due at the Lowell Housing Authority Dept. of Finance & Procurement, 350 Moody Street Lowell, MA 01854 by 11:00 AM on August 22, 2022 and General Contractor Bids are due by 11:00 AM on August 29,
2022.

All Bids should be clearly labeled and delivered to: Lowell Housing Authority, 350 Moody St., Lowell, MA 01854 Attn: Dept. of Finance & Procurement, and received no later than the date and time specified above.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Lowell Housing Authority.
