ABOUT LHA

The Lowell Housing Authority team, working in partnership with other housing providers, local government, nonprofit organizations, provide quality housing and a variety of social service programs that assist residents in achieving their highest level of self-sufficiency.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The LHA Board of Commissioners is the governing body that determines policies and resolutions of LHA. The Board approves decisions that chart the direction of current and future programs and authorizes the actions of the Chief Executive Officer and his designees.

The five-member Board of Commissioners is confirmed by the Lowell City Council. All commissioners must be residents of Lowell, and at least one commissioner must be an LHA resident. Employees of LHA are not authorized to serve as commissioners. Commissioners serve staggered five-year terms.
