The Lowell Housing Authority develops a number of agency plans throughout the year, including Capital Funding, Finance, and Administrative Plans. These plans are required by HUD and DHCD to ensure compliance with and formalize program regulations, to improve programs and services, and to set the course for the Authority now and in the future. The Housing Authority crafts these plans collaboratively taking input from all agency departments, and most importantly our residents. The Lowell Housing Authority is required at certain times to make administrative plans available for public comment for 45 days prior to final submission.

Details: The 5-Year Plan is scheduled to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before July 12, 2019. On July 10, 2019 at 4:00 p.m a Public Hearing will be held to accept oral or written comments on the Plan. Written comments will also be accepted at the Executive Office until 4:30 p.m. on July 10, 2019. The public Hearing is scheduled to occur at the Meeting Room at the Mercier Center, located at 21 Salem Street, Lowell, MA. This location is wheelchair accessible.
