The LHA is seeking applications from qualified, registered/licensed and insured entities that specialize in providing the services required to design and build an inclusive, ADA accessible, instructional community kitchen designed to celebrate the rich, cultural diversity of LHA residents. The community will become more tightly knitted through sharing in the preparation and enjoyment of traditional cuisines and cultural celebrations.
A study and as-built drawings of the existing conditions of the community room located at 657 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA is necessary to identify conditions contrary to public safety, building codes, and accessibility regulations. This study shall provide an assessment of the existing utilities, lighting, and finishes and assess them for the proposed use of space. The selected designer will work with LHA representatives to identify design criteria and finalize design decisions.
