The Lowell Housing Authority seeks bids from qualified contractors interested in the removal and proper disposal of asbestos and related materials on an as needed basis. On occasion, when renovating apartments, asbestos is discovered and must be safely removed before the space can be occupied. Asbestos testing and monitoring are performed by others who are contracted by LHA. Work under this contract is for the abatement of asbestos only.
