The Lowell Housing Authority (“LHA”) seeks a qualified, registered/licensed and insured designer to provide independent building engineering services. Stamped plans are required for any follow-on projects.
Engineering contractors (“Designer(s)”) will provide design services to study and provide drawings (as applicable) and specifications that are generally based upon the scope of work defined on the Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) documents.
The Lowell Housing Authority’s City View Towers (“CVT”, formerly Dewey Archambault Towers) is a public housing development with eight (8) floors. Basement: offices, maintenance facility, fire suppression controls & equipment, utilities controls & equipment, and resident laundry facilities. Ground floor: Development property offices, resident community rooms and the LHA’s executive office suite. There are seven (7) residential
apartment floors consisting of 189 studio and one-bedroom apartments. This building serves disabled and elderly populations; it was constructed c.1971.
