The Lowell Housing Authority invites bids from qualified vendors interested in providing ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications outlined in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). An initial one-year contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest bid price. Contract may be extended for two additional one-year periods.
The IFB is available by emailing projectdog.com Project Code #835810 as of November 27, 2019. Bids from all vendors are due at the Lowell Housing Authority Dept. of Finance & Procurement, 350 Moody Street Lowell, MA 01854 on or before 11:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2019 when bids will be publicly opened and read forthwith. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute.
All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid price. Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. These contracts are subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates/Davis Bacon, OSHA Certification and DCAMM Eligibility.
