The Lowell Housing Authority and the Board of Commissioners, the Awarding Authority, invite sealed bids from Contractors to replace existing plumbing piping at 402-408 Adams Street at the North Common Village for the Lowell Housing Authority in Lowell, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Bobrek Engineering & Construction.
The Project consists of: the replacement of existing plumbing piping in crawlspaces and installation of an ERV system.
The work is estimated to cost $214,607.00.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive, Davis Bacon Wage Determination for Building Construction (MA1), 40 U.S.C.
276, 29 C.F.R. 1. A Pre-Bid Site Visit shall take place on September 28, 2022 @ 10:00 AM. Interested Contractors shall meet in the parking lot adjacent to the Mercier Center located at 21 Salem Street, Lowell, MA 01854.
The IFB is available to download at www.lhma.org/bids as of September 14, 2022. Filed Sub-Bids are due at the Lowell Housing Authority Dept. of Finance & Procurement, 350 Moody Street Lowell, MA 01854 by 11:00 AM on October 5, 2022 and General Contractor Bids are due by 11:00 AM on October 14,
